General Accounting Lead

You will be responsible for the following: 

- Performs monthly accruals, reversals, and account reconciliations in an accurate and timely manner

- Review accounts to spot and flag aging or unresolved reconciling items, gathering necessary details for senior staff to review for potential write-offs

-  Pull transaction-level data and draft preliminary notes to help explain significant month-to-month or quarter-to-quarter balance sheet fluctuations

- Create and update foundational reconciliation schedules, helping to ensure that sub-ledgers accurately match the General Ledger and Trial Balance across all entities.

- Responding to financial inquiries, both external and internal, including auditors,  by gathering and interpreting data

- Coordinate with all department/business units in analyzing actual figures booked on a monthly basis

We are looking for:

• College Graduate- BS Accountancy
• Must be a Certified Public Accountant
• With 3-5 years of supervisory experience in Audit/Finance or equivalent
• Strong proficiency/familiarity in corporate tax & accounting and all relevant GAAP, IFRS, BIR and SEC rules and regulations.
• Excellent team player, strong leadership and analytical skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills
• SAP Literate and Knowledgeable in MS Office esp. excel
