What You Will Do:

As part of the GTF Commercial Strategy team, you will:

  • Build and refine analytical models that shape GTF commercial strategy, including life‑of‑program business planning, pricing evaluations, and competitive assessments.
  • Contribute to initiatives that strengthen the GTF product offering portfolio by performing quantitative analysis, benchmarking, and customer/value modeling.
  • Maintain and improve our knowledge base, ensuring playbooks, guidelines, and tools remain accurate, current, and widely usable across GTF commercial teams.
  • Assist in advancing new and emerging strategic efforts, including regional assessments supporting GTF campaigns and business case development for next‑generation engine programs.
  • Partner with the Customer Business Organization, Aftermarket, Programs, Finance, and Legal teams to translate analysis into actionable recommendations for campaigns and long-term agreements.
  • Onsite role with <10% travel.

What You Will Learn:

  • Expand your knowledge of GTF engine program economics, lifecycle value drivers, and how technical, financial, and operational factors shape commercial strategy.
  • Deepen your understanding of new engine business and aftermarket pricing frameworks through hands‑on analytical work across active GTF campaigns.
  • Build familiarity with customer value modeling, competitive intelligence, and the analytical approaches used to evaluate market positions and offering performance.
  • Strengthen your analytical toolkit by working with cross‑functional partners and applying data modeling, scenario evaluation, and business case assessment techniques to solve real‑world strategic questions.
  • Engage with diverse stakeholders across the Commercial Engines business, gaining insight into how the Customer Business Organization, Aftermarket, Programs, Finance, and Legal teams collaborate to shape customer solutions and long‑term business outcomes.
  • Ability to work onsite and collaborate across multiple stakeholder groups.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 2 year of experience; Or Advanced Degree and 6 months of experience as listed below:
  • 2 years of relevant experience in strategy, pricing, finance, analytics, or related domains.
  • Experience working with large datasets or financial modeling.

  • Proficiency in Excel.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to present clear, data‑driven findings.
  • Interest in aviation, strategy, or technical/business problem solving.
  • Exposure to aerospace, jet engine operation, or aftermarket maintenance.
  • Familiarity with product strategy, pricing, or competitive assessments.
  • Experience working with large datasets or financial modeling.
  • Experience with SQL, Python, VBA, or analytical modeling tools.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
