What you'll do:

Job Family Definition:

Develops, implements and utilizes processes and tools to enable the sales life-cycle (pricing, orders, invoicing, opportunity assessment, field inventory management and other sales pipeline analytics and forecasting solutions). Reports and analyzes order pipeline, bookings, revenue forecasting, revenue reporting, sales productivity and goal attainment. Maintains and enhances sales force automation systems, product/service costing models, and margin management tools/systems to effectively monitor and manage revenue/expenses.

Management Level Definition:

Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients. Exercises significant independent judgment to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. May provide mentoring and guidance to lower level employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the design and solutioning of end‑to‑end quoting and pricing processes for complex capabilities, ensuring simplicity for sellers and partners while supporting scale, compliance, and commercial rigor.

  • Lead root‑level problem solving across quoting and pricing workflows, identifying systemic issues and driving sustainable, long‑term solutions rather than tactical fixes.
  • Apply advanced analytical thinking to deeply understand seller and partner journeys, uncover friction points, and quantify experience, efficiency, and revenue impact.
  • Architect sustainable solution designs that balance process, policy, and technology, with a strong focus on usability, automation, and future readiness.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to IT, working hand in hand to translate business and experience requirements into scalable system solutions.
  • Influence and align cross‑functional stakeholders (Sales, Operations, Pricing, Finance, Legal, IT) to ensure consistent decision‑making and timely execution.
  • Act as a domain expert in quoting and pricing, providing thought leadership, setting standards, and guiding best practices across teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement by establishing clear success metrics, monitoring adoption, and refining capabilities based on seller and partner feedback.
  • Mentor and guide other process and capability contributors, raising the overall quality and maturity of solution design within the organization.

What you need to bring:

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Management or equivalent
  • Typically 10+ years experience

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Deep expertise in Quoting & Pricing process architecture and capability design

  • Advanced Root Cause Analysis and Systemic Problem Resolution
  • Proven ability in Sustainable Solution Development for complex, cross‑system environments
  • Exceptional analytical and critical thinking with a data‑driven mindset
  • Excellent Cross‑Team and Cross‑Functional Collaboration, with the ability to influence without authority
  • Strong experience partnering closely with IT and engineering teams on large‑scale capability delivery
  • Seller‑ and Partner‑centric mindset, with a focus on experience, productivity, and outcomes
  • Executive‑ready communication and stakeholder management skills
