Purpose of the Job
Promote the Bank’s products and services to Global Corporate clients, including but not limited to Foreign Exchange and Derivatives, develop and maintain business with existing and new clients by partnering with Relationship Managers to achieve the Bank’s revenue target.
Be responsible for ensuring delivering quality products and services to clients.
Implement department’s business plan and/or project.
Perform any ad-hoc tasks assigned by management.
Primary Responsibilities
Equip with professional markets and products knowledge to conduct the marketing activities and analyze markets including macroeconomic indicators for giving markets update/advise to clients.
Support all relevant departments in the promotion of banking business, such as the provision of Markets-related information, product specification, operational procedure and information relating to clients’ demand for any products.
Observe and comply with all relevant external regulations as well as internal policies, procedures and control frameworks, ensuring marketing activities are conducted within the established rules.
Support in developing and updating policies to ensure alignment with all relevant regulations.
Be responsible for all kinds of reporting to department head and local management
Strengthen the sales business and achieve assigned revenue targets and other non-financial KPIs.
Deliver extraordinary service to internal and external clients to enhance Bank's reputation and meet client's expectations.
Work in partnership with various departments in the Bank to support in delivering seamless transactions to the client. Departments including but not limited to Operations.
Develop and maintain strong stakeholder management with key stakeholders both within MUFG and externally.
Prepare marketing materials and create trade ideas to serve with clients’ needs.
Execute FX and rates trades and comply with the various internal rules / systems and advise assistant / structurer level. Be able to handle pre-trade and post-trade workflow such as proposal, visit memo, BtF etc., and ensure trade executions are done with all required workflows.
Demonstrate professionalism and maintain respectful and collaborative environment with colleagues and stakeholders.
Supervise, motivate and educate the subordinates through regular meetings, daily activities and so on. To provide training to existing and newly joined staff to ensure smooth trade execution.
Support on the collaboration with other Product Offices such as Transaction Banking, and Global Corporate Banking Department or any project teams across all the regions.
Fulfill regulatory requirements on the licensing related qualification.
Maintain good working knowledge of industry trends, products, relevant laws and regulations.
Execute FX and rates trades while complying with the various internal policies and guidelines and advise Sales / assistant / structurer level.
Job Requirements:
Demonstrated expertise in market-related disciplines with a deep understanding of foreign exchange products, derivatives products, and macroeconomic analysis relevant to global corporate banking.
Possession of a valid Derivatives Sales Licence or equivalent regulatory qualification required for conducting FX and rates trades within Korea’s financial sector.
Exceptional interpersonal skills enabling you to build trust-based relationships with clients as well as internal stakeholders across multiple departments.
Comprehensive knowledge of current industry trends, relevant laws, regulations governing financial products/services delivery in Korea’s banking sector
