Summary

As a leading GBS captive within the Aerospace industry, maintaining operational integrity and safety is paramount. This strategic role is designed to anchor our Risk and Business Continuity Management (BCM) framework within the GBS team.

You will be responsible for ensuring that our critical processes, across all services lines in GBS (Including HR, Finance, Procurement and group Property) are protected against disruptions and compliant with the required risk management frameworks and all teams are actively managing their Business Continuity Plans.

What will you be doing?

1. Strategic Risk Governance

  • Ensure all identified risks e.g. Data Privacy etc. are captured, and mapped to the Group Risk Taxonomy, maintaining consistency with enterprise risk classifications and reporting standards.
  • Act as the Risk Tool Super User, providing user support, tool admin (GBS only) and business training to stakeholders.
  • Lead the end-to-end management of Internal and External Audits (e.g., PWC), ensuring all management actions are tracked, mitigated, and closed within stipulated timelines.
  • Provide risk assurance for major transformation projects, specifically overseeing any new projects to prevent defects and ensure data integrity.
  • Develop a "Strategic Response" framework for risk reporting, moving from reactive mitigation to proactive risk forecasting.

2. Business Continuity Management (BCM) & Resilience

  • Conduct Business Impact Analysis (BIA) across all GBS service lines to identify mission-critical processes and define Recovery Time Objectives (RTO).
  • Develop and maintain site-specific Business Continuity Plans (BCP) for the Bangalore hub, ensuring the physical and digital infrastructure supports 24/7 resilience.
  • Design and execute Tabletop Exercises and Simulation Drills for senior leadership to test organizational readiness during system outages or regional disruptions.
  • Collaborate with IT and Global Security to ensure Disaster Recovery (DR) plans are synchronized with business requirements.
  • Ensure accurate and consistent capture of all risks including business continuity and resilience risks with the relevant tool.

3. Stakeholder Leadership & Global Scaling

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Risk and BCM for global stakeholders, providing regular executive summaries on the organization’s resilience posture.
  • Partner with Enterprise risk team to deploy Group Risk Framework.
  • Partners with service leads in Finance, Procurement, HR and Group Property embed risk-thinking into daily operational workflows.
  • This role is to lead out on this globally for GBS, and work with teams in our key areas such as UK, Germany and US.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required

Technical Competencies

  • Experience 12-15 years in Risk Management, BCM, or Internal Audit within a GBS or Captive environment.
  • Industry Knowledge Familiarity with Aerospace compliance standards or highly regulated industry requirements.
  • Systems Proficiency in Workday, ServiceNow, and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) platforms.
  • Certifications    ISO 22301 (BCM), ISO 31000 (Risk), or CRISC/CISA preferred.

Behavioral Competencies:

  • Crisis Composure: The ability to lead and maintain clarity during high-pressure disruptions.
  • Communication: Mastery of the "POWER" technique (Plan, Organize, Write, Edit, Review) for executive-level reporting
