Role Details

We are seeking a Gardener, to be responsible for assisting in the upkeep and maintenance of the University’s gardens encompassing both hard and soft landscape works to a high standard, which is in keeping with its prestigious location within a Royal Park.

The 4½ hectares of gardens include amenity landscape features, sports and ornamental turf, greenhouse and some indoor plant displays.

Working as an integral part of the Estates & Facilities Management team, you will undertake both planned and reactive maintenance tasks relating to the gardens ensuring that they are completed to the appropriate standards and in a timely fashion.

The gardens are an important asset to the University and are a key enhancement to the student, staff and visitor experience.

This is a part-time role (32 hours/4 days per week), to be worked on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
