THE JOB:

We are seeking an experienced Garde Manger Master Cook with 1+ years of relevant culinary experience to join our dynamic kitchen team. In this role, you will assist the Chef in food preparation, adhering to approved methods for cooking, garnishing, and portion sizes, while creating an exceptional dining experience for our guests. THE STARTING RATE:  $23.50 per hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Prepare food following established methods for portion size, cooking, sauce mixing, and garnishing, under the direction of the Chef, Executive Sous Chef, and Sous Chef.

  • Set up and maintain your workstation according to established standards and station sheets.

  • Evaluate cooked food for quality, flavor, and appearance before serving.

  • Ensure orders are accurately handled through the Customer Relations Management system.

  • Comply with occupational, health, and safety standards, maintaining proper food storage and holding temperatures.

  • Complete closing requirements as directed by kitchen leadership.

  • Delegate tasks to other team members as instructed by the chefs.


THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • High School Diploma, GED

  • 1+ Years of Prior Relevant Cooking Experience in a high-volume restaurant

  • Willing and able to work Full-time schedule, 40 hours per week, Day shift 6:00am-2:45pm with Mon/Tue off. Must be willing to work weekends and holidays.

  • Able to lead and mentor a team is preferred

Pay Rate

The rate for this role is:

$23.50

Pay will not be below any applicable minimum wage.

Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.
