Salary Range: $154454 - $197200 Per Year

Job Summary: You will serve as a FUTURE OPERATIONS MANAGER in the Operations Directorate of HEADQUARTERS US INDO-PACIFIC COMMAND.

Major Duties:

  • You will develop execution-level operations plans and orders, guidance and execution coordination events and guides the development of time-sensitive plans and orders.
  • You will participate in all USINDOPACOM operational deliberate planning and execution coordination events.
  • You will direct all crisis action and contingency planning for operations with the USINDOPACOM Area of Operations (AOR).
  • You will lead the USINDOPACOM Operations Planning Group (OPG).
  • You will represent the Division Chief at Command-level events within and outside of USINDOPACOM HQ.
  • You will serve as the Deputy Division Chief for approximately fifty personnel with nine branches at the O-3 to O-6 level, GS civilian, and equivalent contractor positions.

Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Developing and interpreting policies, procedures and strategies governing joint military operations; 2) Providing expert technical advice, guidance, and recommendations on issues; 3) Making decisions or recommendations that significantly influence policies and programs concerning technical matters related to joint, combined, and interagency planning and operations; 4) Leading, managing, conducting analysis, and performing crisis action orders and operational analysis work.
