Title and Summary

Fusion Centre Director

We are seeking a strategic, integrative leader to serve as Director of the Singapore Fusion Center—part of Mastercard’s global network of integrated Fusion Centers and the third major iteration of our follow-the-sun intelligence and response model. The Singapore Fusion Center will operate in close alignment with the Global Fusion Center Headquarters based at the Saint Louis Tech Hub in Missouri, USA, and the European Cyber Resilience Center (ECRC) in Waterloo, Belgium. Together, these centers form a coordinated, always-on global capability designed to deliver continuous intelligence, monitoring, and response across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the Singapore Fusion Center team and stakeholders through authentic, values‑based leadership—modeling composure, decency, and accountability; fostering trust and psychological safety; and motivating teams to perform at their best during high‑stress, high‑impact situations.
• Oversee intelligence collection, analysis, and dissemination across global Fusion Center teams and external partners, integrating cyber, fraud, geopolitical, and physical intelligence to inform real-time decision-making and strategic risk management across Mastercard.
• Oversee the Singapore Fusion Center as part of Mastercard’s global Fusion Center network, ensuring strong operational alignment with the Global Fusion Center Headquarters in St. Louis and the European Cyber Resilience Center in Waterloo, while enabling continuous follow-the-sun coverage.
• Translate Global Fusion Center standards, processes, and priorities into effective regional execution, while incorporating Asia-Pacific threat insights, partnerships, and regulatory considerations to strengthen Mastercard’s security posture in the region.
• Build and sustain trusted relationships across Mastercard technology, security, services, and business teams, as well as with government, law enforcement, and private-sector partners, to advance intelligence sharing and collective defense.
• Oversee proactive monitoring, detection, and response to emerging threats, ensuring timely escalation, coordination, and mitigation to protect Mastercard’s global operations and customers.
• Champion the Global Fusion and Intelligence strategy by driving scalable capabilities, operational discipline, and innovation that enhance intelligence quality, speed, and impact across the enterprise.
• Partner closely with Legal, Communications, Public Policy, Services and other key teams to ensure security insights and messaging are aligned with broader enterprise priorities, regulatory expectations, and external engagement strategies.
• Lead with integrity and purpose, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and servant leadership that reflects Mastercard’s values and supports resilient, high-performing teams.

Requirements

• A strategic, integrative leader with a proven ability to build, mentor, and lead high-performing teams in complex, global environments, balancing enterprise alignment with regional execution.
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional, internationally distributed teams and delivering measurable outcomes in high-pressure, rapidly evolving threat landscapes.
• Strong executive presence and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex intelligence and risk insights into clear, actionable guidance for senior leaders and key stakeholders.
• Deep expertise in developing and sustaining effective partnerships across government, law enforcement, and the private sector, with a track record of advancing intelligence sharing and operational collaboration.
• Broad and practical knowledge across cyber, fraud, geopolitical, and physical threat domains, with the ability to guide teams in anticipating, identifying, and mitigating sophisticated adversary activity.
• Strategic mindset with the discipline to balance day-to-day operational excellence with the long-term evolution and scalability of intelligence and fusion center capabilities.
• Demonstrated sound judgment and discretion in handling sensitive intelligence, with a strong commitment to confidentiality, operational security, and alignment with Mastercard’s ethical standards and strategic objectives.
