In Short, The Fund Associate will serve as a critical partner in supporting and strengthening the firm’s investment infrastructure, while helping enhance operational processes and internal controls. This position provides meaningful exposure across a wide range of public and private investments and offers a rare opportunity, early in one’s career, to gain a comprehensive understanding of how a sophisticated investment platform operates within a lean, entrepreneurial environment.
In long, our Fund Associate is responsible for
Manage day-to-day relationships with brokers, including prime brokerage counterparties
Coordinate trade execution and settlement for public equity and fixed income transactions
Support bond and equity trading workflows, including allocations and confirmations
Oversee cash movements, wires, margin activity, and collateral management
Execute and process fund subscriptions, redemptions, and capital calls
Monitor and reconcile positions across custodians and administrators
Assist with onboarding new accounts, counterparties, and service providers
Partner with third-party administrators to maintain the general ledger and investment accounting records
Record and reconcile complex investment transactions across asset classes
Prepare monthly NAV calculations and internal reporting packages
Perform account reconciliations (cash, investments, accrued expenses, income)
Assist with valuation support and documentation
Coordinate with external fund administrators, auditors, and tax advisors
Support annual audit and tax processes
Assist with SEC reporting and regulatory support
Maintain and strengthen internal controls and documentation
Identify opportunities to streamline operational workflows
Support ad hoc analysis and reporting for senior leadership

The Specifics.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA license preferred
1-2 years’ experience in public accounting (Big 4 or equivalent preferred)
Strong background in GAAP accounting
Exposure to investment entities or financial services
Experience with partnership allocations
Enjoy working independently and taking on responsibility
Ability to clearly communicate with a variety of professionals
Adept at time management and prioritizing appropriately to meet deadlines
Demonstrate initiative, discipline, and resourcefulness in thinking through issues
Innovative, go-getter mindset and desire to spur team growth
