About the Department:
The Global Fund Administration & Oversight group plays a pivotal role in safeguarding the integrity of our funds. Our purpose: “To be a value-add business partner by providing solutions to support the Franklin Templeton funds through innovation, execution, and risk management.”
Oversight of various third-party administrators and vendors
NAV and distribution oversight
Financial reporting oversight
Ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulatory rules
Oversight over regulatory filings
Funds boards and audit committees reporting and management
Support of product events (i.e., fund launches, liquidations, mergers, etc.)

Core Responsibilities:
Ensure third-party administrators deliver precise NAV calculations and compliant reporting.
Review financial statements and regulatory filings for accuracy and ensure all reporting deadlines are met.
Analyze reports supporting operational fund oversight.
Coordinate reporting to meet internal, regulatory, and client deadlines.
Strategic Responsibilities:
Gain an understanding of our governance and oversight framework, including our Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA).
Participate in research of new accounting pronouncements and draft disclosures.
Assist in the coordination of fund audits and support critical initiatives.
Team & Collaboration:
Identify process improvements and implement changes to minimize risk and create efficiencies.
Participate in projects, including product launches and regulatory initiatives.
Provide client service and respond to queries promptly.
Experience, Education & Certifications:
Chartered Accountant (CA), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), or Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
4–7 years of relevant experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Familiarity with digital automation tools, including digital literacy and analysis
Strong understanding of accounting principles (US GAAP) and regulatory requirements
Soft Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities
Capable of working independently with minimal guidance
