The Functional Lead – OTC (Order to Cash) is a key role within the SAP Connect implementation project. This individual is responsible for driving the successful deployment of the OTC workstream across all phases of the project lifecycle. Acting as a strategic liaison between business stakeholders and the Connect Project team, the Functional Lead ensures alignment of business requirements with SAP capabilities, oversees configuration and testing, and supports data migration, training, and change management activities. The goal is to enable a smooth and effective go-live that supports business continuity and transformation.
Lead the OTC functional workstream, guiding business stakeholders through all project phases including design, build, test, and deployment.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to validate and refine business requirements within the SAP design framework; maintain up-to-date documentation.
Partner with other functional leads (Manufacturing, Finance, Logistics, etc.) to ensure seamless integration across SAP modules.
Document, review, and approve functional specifications in alignment with business needs and SAP capabilities.
Advocate for and promote changes to business processes and ways of working in collaboration with Business Process Owners (BPOs).
Lead and support testing activities including Functional Unit Testing (FUT), System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Facilitate data cleansing and migration efforts across core, operational, and transactional data sets.
Guide and support Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Superusers, and Business Analysts throughout project activities.
Collaborate with the Change and Training Team to support organizational readiness and capability building.
Provide regular updates to stakeholders at all levels, from front-line employees to senior executives, ensuring transparency and alignment.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar or related role
Strong understanding of IPEX end-to-end order management processes.
Familiarity with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) standards and practices.
Exposure to Supply Chain and Logistics operations.
Experience working with SAP and process-based ways of working.
Proven track record in managing project timelines and deliverables.
Experience with BI reporting and analytics tools is an asset.
Project Management certification (e.g., PMP) and/or Prosci Change Management Certification or equivalent preferred.
Strong business advocacy and stakeholder management skills.
