The Role

As a Software Engineering - Developer at Kyndryl, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge software solutions. Your work will play a critical role in our business offering, your code will deliver value to our customers faster than ever before, and your attention to detail and commitment to quality will be critical in ensuring the success of our products.
Business Analysis & Solution Design
Engage with business stakeholders (Retail, Corporate, Private Banking) to gather requirements
Perform AS-IS / TO-BE analysis across banking processes
Design end-to-end solutions spanning multiple Temenos products
Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and regulatory constraints
T24 Suite Functional Ownership
Work across the Temenos ecosystem, including:
Core Banking: Accounts, Lending, Deposits, Limits
Payments: SEPA, SWIFT, Instant Payments
Channels: Digital Banking / Internet / Mobile
Financial Crime: AML, KYC, Screening
Data & Analytics: Reporting, regulatory data
Integration Layer: APIs, middleware
Configure products, workflows, pricing, lifecycle events across modules
Ensure consistency of data and processes across systems
Responsible for Functional Configuration & Customization
Define functional requirements for integration between T24 and external systems
Work with APIs, messaging, and middleware layers
Support payment processing flows including integration with SWIFT and payment gateways
Perform functional testing (SIT, UAT) and ensure system behavior meets business needs
Act as a liaison between business users, developers, and third-party vendors
Troubleshoot functional issues and provide production support
Ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal policies
Participate in system enhancements, upgrades, and migration projects
Create and maintain SOPs, BRD/FSD, Process Flows & other documentation
Using design documentation and functional programming specifications, you will be responsible for implementing identified components. You will ensure that implemented components are appropriately documented, unit-tested, and ready for integration into the final product. You will have the opportunity to architect the solution, test the code, and deploy and build a CI/CD pipeline for it.
As a valued member of our team, you will provide work estimates for assigned development work, and guide features, functional objectives, or technologies being built for interested parties. Required Technical and Professional Experience
Strong experience across Temenos T24 Suite (beyond Transact)
5 - 7 Years as Funtional Analysts - Temenos
Functional exposure to: Transact (Core Banking)Payments Hub Payments modulesTemenos Channels (Digital Banking)Financial Crime / Compliance modulesData Hub / Analytics.
Integration Framework
Core Functional Knowledge on all T24 Modules
Integration & Data Skills of APIs (REST / SOAP)
Knowledge of payment systems and messaging standards (e.g., SWIFT MT/MX messages)
Familiarity with SWIFT integrations and payment gateway flows
Understanding of credit risk and financial analysis tools from Moody's
Experience in requirement gathering and functional documentation
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and stakeholder management abilities
Basic SQL for data validation and analysis
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Experience with testing tools and defect tracking systems
Exposure to data migration and reconciliation processes
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
Banking / BFSi preferred
Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science / IT / Engineering
