The Role
Join Kyndryl as a Functional Analyst and unlock a world of endless possibilities in designing, developing, and supporting cutting-edge software products, services, and systems. In this pivotal role, you'll harness your expertise in software development, architecture, and engineering practices to spearhead innovative solutions for strategic design/development projects that will shape the future.
As an individual with exceptional technical prowess and remarkable people skills, you'll work hand-in-hand with a team of top-tier developers and engineers, leading and inspiring them to reach new heights of excellence.
Work on banking modules such as Accounts & Deposits, Loans & Lending, Cards & Payments, Digital Banking, Core Banking, Wealth Management, Trade Finance, Treasury, Risk & Compliance.
Understand and document end-to-end flow of financial processes: Customer onboarding (KYC/AML), transaction processing, settlements, reconciliation, interest calculations, fee management, etc.
Ensure solutions comply with regulatory, audit, and risk management standards (e.g., KYC/AML, PCI-DSS, Basel, GDPR).
Documentation & Communication
Prepare functional documents such as BRD, FRD, Use Cases, Process Flow Diagrams, User Stories, Wireframes, UAT Scenarios.
Present requirements and functional flows to technical teams and business groups.
Create mock-ups, sequence diagrams, or workflows to visualize requirements.

A solid understanding of Agile Scrum Ceremonies will be instrumental in your success in this role, enabling you to navigate the agile landscape with finesse and deliver exceptional results.

12+ Years of experience in Functional analyst
Banking domain knowledge (Retail Banking, AML, KYC, PSD2, GDPR)
Business & Functional Requirement Documentation (BRD, FRD)
Use case modeling and process mapping
SQL for data validation and reporting
Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau)
Core banking systems (Temenos T24)
Compliance frameworks (PCI-DSS, fraud detection)
BRD, FRD, use case modeling
SQL and BI tools
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Prior experience in digital transformation or core banking implementation projects
Scrum Master (CSM/PSM)
CBAP, CCBA, or domain-specific banking certifications (preferred)
