About the role:
This role is responsible for translating system requirements and user stories into a robust supportable design of code for the product or application. The IT Software Engineer will develop and test code to ensure it functions as designed and will implement code across the software development life cycle steps preferring CI/CD tooling for deployment and integration.
Your responsibilities will be:

- Implement code across the software development life cycle steps preferring CI/CD tooling for deployment and integration.
- Work closely with product and operations teams for systems/services the software integrates with.
- Play a role in architecture design of the application where applicable/appropriate.
Job Qualifications
We are looking for you if YOU:
- have a BSc, MSc or undivided degree in Computer Science, IT, Automation or similar STEM field
- have excellent communication skills, have English and Hungarian language skills; are capable of communication, both in writing and oral
- have good problem-solving skills, systems approach, process orientation, analytical thinking, initiative, flexibility
- like to work in a team, but at the same time willing to work independently
- are open and motivated to acquire new interdisciplinary knowledge
- have experience in enterprise architectural design
- possess a strong understanding of SQL databases and experience with database design and optimization
- have experience with at least one JavaScript based front-end technology (eg. React.js, Angular)
- are proficient in at least one of these backend technologies: PHP (optionally Laravel), NodeJS, .NET, Python (optionally Flask)
- Advantage: proficiency or experience with more than one of the above backend technologies
- Advantage: understanding MVC architecture
- Advantage: understanding version control systems (Git)
- Advantage: understanding vanilla JavaScript front-end code with HTML insertion
- Advantage: practical knowledge in responsive user focused UI design
