Location: Camden, New Jersey

Virtua Medical Group is seeking a Full-Time Neurocritical Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Neurocritical Care/Intensive Care Unit (Neuro ICU) team on the night shift. This position is ideal for an experienced APP who is comfortable managing complex neurologically critically ill patients and thrives in a fast-paced environment requiring strong clinical judgment and independent decision-making.

Overview

As a Night Shift Neurocritical Care APP, you will provide comprehensive overnight management of patients in the Neurocritical Care Unit. Responsibilities include ongoing neurologic and medical assessment, interpretation of diagnostic studies and neuroimaging, development and implementation of treatment plans, and responding to acute neurologic and clinical changes in patient status.

The night APP plays a key role in maintaining continuity of care, addressing emergent neurologic and medical issues, and supporting safe patient management throughout the overnight hours. This role requires a high level of clinical autonomy while working collaboratively with neurointensivists, neurologists, neurosurgeons, and the multidisciplinary critical care team to ensure timely, evidence-based care and optimal patient outcomes.

Compensation:

The starting salary for this position is: $163,350.00 (annually).
The actual compensation package could vary based on factors such as, but not limited to, the applicant’s experience, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
