A Brief overview:

The Full-Stack Engineer will be responsible for defining, designing & development of digital solutions by applying technical expertise to code enterprise-wide applications, conduct system testing and debugging, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the overall technical implementation and innovation of digital engineering projects.

In this position you will partner and collaborate with the engineering managers, business analysts, architects, quality assurance, business partners, developers, and product owners to effectively translate the business requirements and architectural designs into engineering components. You will also be involved throughout the entire development life cycle of a product and must be able to deliver an efficient solution, as well as identify and properly mitigate any risks to the product before deployment to production.

What you'll do:

  • Understand business requirements and translate them into engineering solutions.
  • Write, debug, and review code, and produce thoroughly tested, defect-free features.
  • Build, test, and deploy code to run on On-Prem/cloud infrastructure.
  • Write and execute unit tests, conduct code reviews, debug, and troubleshoot issues to ensure the reliability and stability of digital solutions.
  • Strong background on REST Web Services, J2EE and Spring frameworks.
  • Participate in SAFe agile methodologies, attends meetings, and contributes to project planning and progress tracking.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail, excellent communications skills and exceptional follow through
  • 2+ years of software development experience in building enterprise/web/cloud applications.
  • 1+ years of experience in programming languages using Java/J2EE, Spring Boot and Spring MVC.
  • 1+ years of experience with building APIs and services using REST.
  • 1+ years of experience working in HTML/CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap.
  • 1+ years of experience working in NodeJS
  • 1+ years of experience working in React
  • 1+ years of experience with version control practices preferably using GIT.
  • 1+ years of experience working with DevOps tools/processes for CICD (i.e. Jenkins, Octopus).
  • 1+ years of experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies.
  • 1+ years of experience working with RDBMS databases (e.g. SQL Server, Oracle, DB2)
  • Knowledge of advanced object-oriented design and design patterns.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to cloud-based platforms is highly preferred (i.e. AWS, GCP)
  • Capable of delivering on multiple competing priorities with little supervision.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking ability
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$79,310.00 - $158,620.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
