We are hiring Full-Stack Software Engineer who combine developer, tester, and DevOps skills. Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Python is highly preferred, and experience with additional programming languages is advantageous. The primary focus will be on developing innovative solutions for the networking and telecommunications industry, including the implementation of AI-based solutions. Our teams operate within Scrum-based frameworks and are aligned with larger release topics to ensure cohesive and efficient project delivery.

 

Overall Purpose:
Develop (code, test, automate, configure pipeline), and provide ongoing application support for new or existing software applications, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with business requirements. The primary focus is on the development of new functionalities for the networking and telecommunications industry.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Software Development: Code and test new software applications to meet business requirements and user needs, with a focus on the networking and telecommunications sectors.
• Application Maintenance and Performance Optimization: Maintain and update existing applications to fix bugs, improve performance, and ensure compatibility with new technologies.
• Requirement Analysis and Documentation: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements/user stories, creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation.
• Quality Assurance and Technical Support: Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing, providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance.
• Collaboration and Project Management: Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, managing development projects and staying updated with industry trends and technologies.
• Agile Methodology: Work within Scrum teams aligned with larger release topics to ensure cohesive and efficient project delivery.

Beneficial Hard Skills:

• Proficiency in Java (Spring Boot), Python (FastAPI), Node.js (Nest), JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, CosmosDB, Snowflake, Databricks)
• Familiarity with microservices, event-driven architecture, and messaging systems (Kafka)
• Strong API design (REST, OpenAPI, Swagger) and testing (Playwright, Cypress)
• Experience with code quality/security tools (Lint, Prettier, SonarQube, Veracode)
• CI/CD and automation using GitHub Actions, Terraform
• Cloud and containerization skills (Azure, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
• Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired in Computer Science ideally.

An experienced professional with in-depth knowledge, applying organizational practices to resolve moderately difficult problems. Works with independent judgment on expansive projects with minimal supervision, implementing policy changes to improve functions. Actions impact efficiency, costs, schedules, and client relationships. Interacts primarily within the department and with General Managers and above across various teams.

Our Full-Stack Software Engineer earns between 68,600 -  103,000 CZK / EUR gross / month. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on experience, expertise, and education/training.
