Job Summary: This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Office of Information Technology (OIT), Enterprise Architecture and Data Group (EADG). As a IT Specialist (SYSANALYS) referred to here as a Full Stack Engineer, GS-2210-15, you will serve as the principal technical authority and strategic advisor for full-stack application development, enterprise integration, and CMS IT modernization initiatives.

In order to qualify for the GS-15, you must meet the following: You must demonstrate in your resume at least one year (52 weeks) of qualifying specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal government, obtained in either the private or public sector, to include: Directing and overseeing the design, development, integration, and modernization of secure full-stack applications; AND Ensuring full-stack applications are integrated with enterprise data platforms like Snowflake or Databricks as well as to cloud-native, microservices-based architectures using open-source frameworks (React, Angular, Spring Boot, Node.js, Kubernetes); AND Leading the analysis and evaluation of proposed or modified policies and regulations to assess their potential impact on enterprise software development programs; AND Providing guidance and leadership in recommending and developing IT modernization strategies and technology adoption decisions; AND Maintaining clear and consistent communication with leadership on project status, technical issues, resolutions, options, risks, and recommendations. In addition to the qualifications listed above, you must have IT-related Basic Requirement experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below: Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. Problem-Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.
