Raytheon is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer with strong software engineering fundamentals to build scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate is passionate about solving real-world problems using modern technology stacks.

What You Will Do

  • Design, develop, and maintain Angular frontend systems integrated with Java-based backend services.

  • Plan, build, test, and deploy product features using Agile software development methodologies.

  • Collaborate with software developers, quality assurance engineers, designers, product managers, and DevOps engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.

  • Create and optimize database queries, support data architecture decisions, and manage relational and transactional databases.

  • Develop and implement unit tests, functional tests, integration tests, and ensure adherence to software development standards.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience

  • Experience in UI development using Angular, React, or Vue.

  • Experience in backend development with Java, C#, or SQL.

  • Experience developing web applications using HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.

  • Experience designing and creating RESTful APIs.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Proficiency in modern frameworks and tools such as Angular (including AG Grid and TypeScript) and Java 17 or higher.

  • Experience with database transactions, migrations, and tools like JPA, Liquibase, MariaDB, or Oracle.

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and microservice-based architecture.

  • Experience with test-driven development (TDD), behavior-driven development (BDD), and a solid understanding of SOLID principles.

  • Remote: This position currently is designated as remote. Employees who are working in remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home) but may be expected to travel to the site location as needed. The successful candidate for this role will be required to reside and work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. territories).

As part of our commitment to maintaining a secure hiring process, candidates may be asked to attend select steps of the interview process in-person at one of our office locations, regardless of whether the role is designated as on-site, hybrid or remote.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
