We are seeking a Full Stack Software Developer to create and maintain internal software programs for our business. Candidates will work individually, and in teams to gather, document, and execute customer requirements for creation, modification and improvement of software in support of business operations. Additionally, candidates will assist in the maintenance of software infrastructure in collaboration with supporting teams.

What You Will Do

  • Code and test programming for in-house software programs

  • Debug code for existing applications

  • Troubleshoot system bugs and issues

  • Promote systems between local, development, test, and production environment

  • Balance workday between multiple projects and respond immediately to support requests from staff

  • Escalate issues and concerns immediately to Project Manager/Supervisor

  • Participate in scrum and code reviews

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience

  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, C#.

  • Experience with front-end frameworks/libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.

  • Experience with back-end frameworks/platforms such as Node.js, .NET, or Django.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience working in Aerospace and Defense

  • Front-End Development: Proficiency in JQuery, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Angular 18, and Bootstrap.

  • Development Tools & Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile development, Jira, and/or Azure DevOps.

  • Experience with cloud software solutions.

  • Knowledge of database concepts such as Views, Stored Procedures, Normalization, Indexing, and Triggers.

  • Additional Tools & Skills: SSIS, Alteryx, Tableau, and skills in data extraction, modeling, and reporting.

  • Remote: This position currently is designated as remote. Employees who are working in remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home) but may be expected to travel to the site location as needed. The successful candidate for this role will be required to reside and work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. territories).

As part of our commitment to maintaining a secure hiring process, candidates may be asked to attend select steps of the interview process in-person at one of our office locations, regardless of whether the role is designated as on-site, hybrid or remote.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
