Work Arrangement: This role is categorized as hybrid on nightshift. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the GM Philippines office three times per week or other frequency dictated by the business.
The Role
The Global Ops Coe in Manila is a developing team about world class delivery, customer support, driving a disruptive shift in strategy, structure, systems, processes, and technology across the enterprise under GM Sales Services and Marketing (SSM) function.
Join the GM Retail Innovation Fulfillment Center team, where we are at the forefront of transforming the vehicle ordering and distribution model to deliver exceptional speed, convenience, and satisfaction to our customers and dealers.
As a vital part of the Fulfillment Center (FC) team, you will be expected to develop and maintain operational reports and dashboards, leverage data analytics to evaluate FC performance, streamline and automate reporting processes, and assist the team with operational tasks.
In this role, you will report indirectly to the Manager of Fulfillment Center Brand Strategy & System Innovation.
What You'll Do
Maintain operational and leadership reports and dashboards.
Collaborate with team to address data issues and fulfill ad-hoc reporting requests.
Use various data analytics methods and visualizations to analyze Fulfillment Center performance.
Create standardized and automated reporting tools and dashboards to improve team processing and customer experience.
Build data models to identify correlations between FC performance and other company and/or market trends.
Document operational and reporting processes and procedures.
Advise team on process improvements; Apply process improvement and project management skills to drive program initiatives.
Train the Field team on reports and performance metrics.
Assist with FC operational tasks such as processing vehicle tags/approvals and Field team support.
Fulfillment Center (FC) Project responsibilities which include:
Designing & implementing a database to house FC data (order>customer delivery); needs an end-user interface for FC manipulation
Enhancing & adding to FC Dashboard
Collaborating with VRIM-FC team to enhance automated Short-Term Forecast; create Long-Term forecast
Collaborating with other GM teams to find correlations between FC performance data and market analysis (incentives, etc.)
Designing & implementing internal FC team scorecard (ops & performance metrics)
Continuing to find new data sources, creating queries to link to PBI and SharePoint
Supporting other PH resources with SharePoint development and automation
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics or other quantitative field
5 or more years proficiency in most of the following:
Knowledge in R or Python and understand their limitations
Two or more analytical methodologies such as statistical process/tools, descriptive/diagnostic analytics, machine learning and text analytics
Data Integrations with expertise using SQL, Databricks or KNIME
Business Intelligence/Reporting with experience using Power BI, Excel, or Cognos
Understanding of data gathering, inspecting, cleansing, transforming, and modeling/diagramming techniques
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; communication skills with the ability to distill complex subjects to a wider audience
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Must be willing to work on the NIGHT SHIFT, 8pm to 5am PH time
