Fuel & Lube Technician/Serviceperson

In this role, you’ll support the maintenance of our heavy equipment fleet, including fueling and lubrication, to keep operations running smoothly. We’re seeking dedicated professionals to join us on the CNRL Albian Reclamation 2026 project in Fort Mackay, AB.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Operate trucks to safely service heavy equipment as required and directed 
  • Conduct pre-trip/walk-around safety inspections and completes daily Field Level Hazard Assessments for all activities 
  • Complete equipment inspections, report repairs required and assist in scheduling these repairs
  • Complete maintenance records and documentation as required 
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with other team members 
  • Be a leader of both safety and production for the team by ensuring compliance with all company, client, and legislated safety policies and procedures 

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Serviceperson on heavy equipment in a reclamation or mining environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Would possess a valid Driver's License and clear 3-year driver's abstract
  • Must successfully complete a pre-access drug and alcohol test
  • CSTS-2020, Common Safety Orientation (CSO) or OSSA’s Basic Safety Orientation (BSO)

Work Conditions:

  • Project based position working fourteen days on and 14 days off, working 12 hours per day 
  • Travel allowance and camp accommodations would be provided to those who qualify  
  • Extended Health & Wellness Benefits provided by CLAC Alberta
  • Work will be primarily outdoors and in various weather conditions 
  • Anticipated start date: January 2026
