About the department The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Technology team builds and operates the company’s Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) and reporting platforms that power planning, forecasting, cost allocation, profitability, and insight. Engineers, analysts, and product‑minded specialists partner with Global Finance and Technology, working in Agile sprints to prioritize backlogs and deliver releases. You will join a collaborative, high‑ownership environment with global exposure, modern Business Intelligence (BI) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools, and clear opportunities to deepen finance‑tech expertise and influence enterprise outcomes.

How will you add value Platform ownership & FP&A enablement?

Key responsibilities:

EPM platform ownership & FP&A enablement:

  • Administer, configure, and enhance FP&A/EPM platforms (security, metadata, hierarchies, models, versions, validations).

  • Design and maintain planning and forecasting models within Adaptive Planning, supporting multiple different functions: Corporate and functional Opex; Headcount and compensation planning; Cost allocation and profitability by business line, investment platform, or legal entity.

  • Design & maintain reporting systems including Oracle Essbase – Multi‑Dimensional AUM (Assets Under Management) reporting; Power BI – Planning/Forecasting/AUM business‑intelligence dashboarding.

  • Build and support dashboards and management reports leveraging Workday Office Connect and Oracle Smart View for Excel‑based reporting for FP&A and Finance leadership.

  • Administer and support Business Intelligence platforms (primarily Power BI), including user access, security, and platform maintenance

  • Partner with Finance and Technology teams to resolve data, application and infrastructure issues impacting business processes

  • Continuously identify opportunities to simplify, automate, or standardize FP&A processes through use of AI, system enhancements, data model optimization, or improved reporting and analytics.

Data & Integration Management:

  • Partner with ERP, HR, and data platform teams to manage inbound/outbound integrations into FP&A systems.

  • Ensure data completeness, reconciliation, and variance analysis across actuals, forecasts, and plans.

  • Support complex financial data sets common in asset management environments (multi‑entity, global cost structures, shared services).

Delivery & Stakeholder Partnership:

  • Work within an Agile delivery model, contributing to backlog prioritization, creating and managing user stories, sprint execution, UAT, and releases.

  • Partner with Corporate FP&A and functional Finance teams to translate business requirements into scalable, sustainable system solutions.

  • Lead problem definition and solution design for complex FP&A use cases, including those with ambiguous or incomplete requirements, by identifying root causes, evaluating trade‑offs, and recommending pragmatic, scalable system solutions.

  • Coordinate with external vendors and implementation partners on enhancements and roadmap initiatives.

Controls, Governance & Reliability:

  • Design and operate FP&A technology solutions in alignment with SOX / IT General Controls (security, change management, access controls).

  • Support financial close, forecast, and budget cycles with high system availability and performance.

  • Maintain documentation, SOPs, and training materials to support global users.

  • Proactively diagnose data quality, performance, or process issues within FP&A platforms, performing root‑cause analysis and driving resolution in partnership with Finance, Technology, and vendors.

What will help you be successful in this role Experience, Education & Certifications ?

  • 7–10 years in financial systems, FP&A technology, or EPM.

  • Proven partnership with Corporate Finance and FP&A teams.

  • Strong FP&A knowledge in asset or investment management.

  • Agile or iterative delivery experience.

  • Industry background in asset or wealth management is preferred.

  • Certifications: CA, CMA, CFA, MBA, or EPM vendor.

Technical Skills:

  • Workday Adaptive Planning or comparable EPM tools (Anaplan, Hyperion, OneStream, Tagetik).

  • Financial consolidation, cost allocation, and profitability modelling.

  • Power BI administration, data modelling, security, and maintenance.

  • Dashboard and report design for FP&A and operations.

  • Oracle Essbase and Tableau; Structured Query Language (SQL) proficiency.

  • AI fluency with Copilot and workflow agents.

  • Workday Financials, ERP, HR systems; SOX and ITGC familiarity.

Soft Skills:

  • Clear communicator across Finance, Technology, and business stakeholders.

  • Comfortable with global, cross‑functional collaboration.

  • Self‑directed, accountable, and team‑oriented.

  • Continuous improvement mindset focused on scale and automation.

  • Strong problem solver with practical, balanced decision‑making.
