About Tahoe Migration Execution Team
The primary purpose of the Tahoe Migration Execution team is to ensure that existing clients are successfully migrated to the new FPSL model within agreed timescales. The team ensures that migrations meet Fidelity quality, efficiency, and product definitions.
Purpose of your role
The role is to lead a team of 6-20 Migration execution resources. We are looking for a senior candidate with extensive experience in team leadership and delivering pensions change projects, as well as the capabilities and credibility to expertly manage escalations if they arise.
Business engagement is a key part of this role and you will be required to work with multiple business stakeholders mainly internal. Hence communication, organization and project management skills are essential to ensure Project Managers have the processes in place and information necessary to complete Fidelity client change projects.
The right candidate will be pro-active in determining any other needs or concerns of the client and any requirements necessary to improve the effectiveness of the team, using their industry knowledge and experience to seek Continuous Improvement in client service.

• Auditing and ensuring the team members are on track with the workload
• Stakeholder management and engagement - working with relationship managers, project managers and junior colleagues

• Managing and working with project resources to deliver client projects against agreed timelines.
• Manage, track and report project-related issues where appropriate.
• Act as lead point of contact for any project-related concerns on behalf of your team including escalation management.
• Ensuring that the appropriate structure and controls are in place for all projects in the pipeline as required.
• Quality checks for all projects delivered by the team - Quality Assurance Checklists are complete, Governance and Legal formalities are signed off and the projects are ready to be audited
• Coordination of all resources involved to deliver the Tahoe Migration.
• Consult with direct reporting Manager or appropriate parties on issues requiring additional attention or decision-making.
• Assist client in understanding the Tahoe Migration processes and procedures.
• Guide teams and stakeholders to help achieve the right outcome, asking thought provoking questions.
• Interface with client and/or internal associates to solve problems and resolve outstanding issues relating to plan administration or any of Fidelity’s products and services.
• Act as a central hub across global stakeholders to find solutions that are acceptable to the many groups that you interact with such as Legal, Compliance, client services and operations.
• Understand changes in business priorities and suggest changes to the pipeline of work to accommodate these without impacting objectives
• Obtaining authorisation/sign off/commitment to the project as required.
• Facilitate meetings as required. Record and document all meetings and communicate outputs in a timely manner.
• Consult with direct reporting Manager or appropriate parties on issues requiring additional attention or decision-making.
• Establish and follow detailed on-going procedures for the administration of the plan with all impacted areas (Client Management, Financial Operations, Administration, Phone Team, Communications etc.)
• Interact with the appropriate members of Admin and Financial Operations to ensure that all-proper controls are established.
• Understand the market and its needs by keeping up with industry trends and developments in the market through regular client contact, trade press, and industry conferences.
• Understand the full array of Fidelity products and services, specifically, but not restricted to the institutional arena. Examples would be services related to all aspects of the defined contribution pension schemes and Fidelity funds offered to such schemes.

Good education standard
• Strong pension industry experience in Defined Contributions/Final Salary operations administration & implementation
• Experienced people leader, with a demonstrated background in coaching staff
• Strong client facing experience including all communication methods
• Good knowledge of retirement market
• High Level of Microsoft excel skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Able to listen to views of key stakeholders and adapt to changing requirements / needs and opinions
• Lead by example to make sure that the team is acting in the expected professional manner
