Frontend Software Engineer

As a Front-end Software Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of building an engaging, user-friendly experience for legal teams around the world. You’ll have real influence over our UI direction,  own features from design through deployment and see your code go live frequently thanks to our SaaS model and continuous deployment practices. In our collaborative, empowered environment, you’ll work alongside architects, Leads, QA, Product and senior engineers to innovate and grow while shaping a product customers love.

What You Will Be Doing

• Build and design UI product features
• Build new features in the latest version of React, TypeScript, Radix UI, and Material UI Components
• Be involved in the migration of remaining legacy AngularJS code to React
• Apply best practice in UI, UX, and state management
• Working through the design of new features as an embedded member of one of our Scrum teams
• Propose and discuss alternative solutions
• Write Typescript Playwright automated tests and partner with our QA Engineers to drive the quality and performance of your code.
• Conduct code reviews giving guidance and advice to continually improve the UI
• Support in our ongoing transition toward a fully automated CI/CD environment.

 

Skills & Experience

To be successful in the role, you need:

• 3-5 years front-end programming experience
• Have worked with modern JavaScript frameworks - e.g., React or similar 
• Demonstrate experience interfacing with RESTful backend API’s
• Ideally have experience working in a SaaS or product company, or delivering software to enterprise customers
• Passionate about writing clean, high-performance code
• Have experience in Agile software development methodologies
• Highly collaborative, consensus-driven

• Java, Spring, SQL
• Typescript Playwright
• OAuth, front-end security

Location & Eligibility

This role offers a flexible work location across Ireland. Whether that be in the office, remote from anywhere in Ireland, or a mix of office/remote work in Ireland, you choose what works best for your lifestyle. 

There are quarterly team meet ups that all of the team are expected to attend in our Dublin office - a good opportunity to catch up and spend sometime working together in person.
