Awardco

Frontend Engineer, Web

Lindon, Utah Full Time

Awardco is reimagining the workplace to be more rewarding, supportive, and fun for everyone. As one of the fastest growing companies in the employee experience industry, our mission is to help employees love what they do, love where they work, and get recognized for their efforts—especially our own employees! And as winners of Glassdoor’s Best Places to Work, Best in Brightest in the Nation, and Great Place to Work, we do much more than talk the talk.

We are looking for a Frontend Engineer to report to the Director of Web and play a pivotal role in the next evolution of Awardco’s marketing site and other web projects. In this role, you will bridge the gap between low-code agility and high-code complexity. You won’t just be executing tickets; you will partner with leadership to define the technical strategy that powers our lead generation and user engagement.

Your mission is to push the boundaries of what a marketing site can be. You will leverage modern frameworks (React, Next.js) to inject app-like functionality—such as interactive ROI calculators and personalized assessment tools—directly into our Webflow environment. You will architect data pipelines, manage API integrations, and ensure our web infrastructure is fast, accessible, and scalable. If you are a developer who loves the challenge of building complex solutions that directly drive revenue, this is the role for you.

What you will do:

Website Development & Architecture

  • Build High-Performance Experiences: Construct Awardco marketing pages and projects ensuring world-class speed, performance, and accessibility.
  • Bridge Code & No-Code: Build responsive, dynamic components using Webflow CMS, custom scripts, and modern frameworks. You will master the Webflow platform to seamlessly integrate custom code projects, bridging the gap between no-code speed and full-stack capability.
  • Platform Innovation: Lead the adoption of Webflow Cloud, Webflow Optimize, and Webflow Localize to enhance interactivity and personalization.
  • Design Partnership: Partner closely with the design team to bring visually sophisticated, data-rich experiences to life (pixel-perfect implementation).

Data Integration & Automation

  • API Management: Integrate external APIs and data feeds (e.g., Monday.com, Airtable, Event Management systems) into dynamic site experiences that reflect live intelligence and research.
  • Data Architecture: Collaborate on in-house tools that pull from PostgreSQL databases and internal research data sets.
  • Workflow Automation: Architect and maintain automations using Make (formerly Integromat) to connect data pipelines, analytics, and marketing systems.
  • MarTech Connectivity: Partner with Marketing Operations to ensure smooth data flow between GA4, GTM, Hubspot, Salesforce, and our web properties.

Optimization & Continuous Improvement

  • Performance Optimization: Drive initiatives across performance, SEO, UX, and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
  • Technical Diagnostics: Monitor site analytics to diagnose technical issues and implement continuous improvements.
  • Future-Proofing: Stay ahead of emerging trends in AI-driven search, personalization, and automation to keep Awardco’s digital presence on the leading edge.

What you will bring:

  • Experience: 3-5+ years of frontend engineering experience, specifically developing and managing high-traffic marketing or product websites.
  • Core Stack: Strong front-end development skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Deep knowledge of modern Javascript frameworks is required (React, Vue, Next.js, or Svelte).
  • API Proficiency: Demonstrated experience connecting web platforms to external data sources via API. Specific experience with PostgreSQL, Cloudflare Workers, Monday API, and Airtable API is highly valued.
  • Marketing Automation: Experience with Make (Integromat), GA4, GTM, and marketing automation platforms (Hubspot, Salesforce).
  • Best Practices: Deep knowledge of accessibility (WCAG), security, and performance optimization best practices.
  • Version Control: Proficiency with Git and version control workflows.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and attention to detail. You have the ability to collaborate effectively across design, content, and technical teams.

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience building within Webflow.
  • Creative coding experience (Three.js, GSAP/CSS animations, etc.).
  • Familiarity with UX/UI best practices and design systems.
  • Experience with Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) methodologies.
