NN Insurance Hungary is looking for a talented professional to join NN Hungary’s team as a Frontend Developer. In this position, you will have the chance to develop frontend for new information systems and to provide enhancements, development of financial/insurance systems and related utilities/interfaces and other office applications based on business requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Translate business requirements into functional, production‑ready software
- Proactively suggest and implement improvements to existing functionality and performance
- Collaborate with teammates to design new features and evolve our architecture
- Write clean, maintainable code and meaningful unit tests
- Use and enhance Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines to automate builds, tests, and deploys
- Follow security standards and engineering best practices throughout the SDLC
- Contribute to app infrastructure and keep documentation clear and current
What matters to us:
- 5–10+ years of work experience in the field of frontend development
- Expert‑level programming skills in React + Typescript
- Deep understanding of FP, OOP, architectural patterns and scalable frontend design
- Confident knowledge of unit, integration, and end‑to‑end testing (Jest, Mocha, Playwright)
- Experience with scalable state‑management solutions (Redux Toolkit, Recoil)
- Ability to take ownership of complex technical problems, perform trade‑off analysis, and make informed decisions
- Ability to collaborate effectively with product owners, BAs and QAs, etc., communicate proactively, and raise risks in time
- Experience with modern ECMAScript standards
- Fluent English knowledge
Advantages:
