In today’s highly connected world, exchange trading across the globe is key requirement of global banks. FGN is group of highly talented and motivated individuals who strive for low latency real-time trading solutions. Team at Pune location is focused on trade routing for equities and mutual funds market.

What you will be doing 

This position is for product development of energy trading. You would be working on complete SDLC of products. Key technologies would be Angular, Java and Oracle. You would be responsible to multiple products development and production issue handling.  You would be required to do communication with business stake holders, expectation management and team/product management. You would be working in highly quality & client focused environment.

What you bring: 

Knowledge / Experience

• 7-10 years of hands-on experience
• Experience on front-end development
• Experience in REST Web Services
• Good knowledge in Transaction Management – ACID properties
• Experience working in Unix/Linux environment
• Experience on debugging and profiling tools
• Ability to provide technical support to team
• Ability to handle production issue and provide quick solution
• Highly professional, client focus and passion for learning new developments
• Good understanding of Agile development practices.

Additional requirements (good to have) –

• Hands-on experience on Core Java
• Knowhow of Git, Google Test Framework for unit testing

• Degree or equivalent

• Excellent communicator – ability to discuss technical and commercial solutions to internal and external parties and adapt depending on the technical or business focus of the discussion
• Attention to detail – track record of authoring high quality documentation
• Organized approach – manage and adapt priorities according to client and internal requirements

• Willing to travel occasionally (no more than 10%)
• Willing to work in Flexible schedule, ready to work in shifts
• Must be able to perform under pressure
• Must learn and maintain knowledge of software components as necessary to support application builds and deployments and maintaining production environments.
