About the role:

The Front Desk Receptionist welcomes guests to the property and sets the tone for their entire stay. This role delivers an exceptional arrival and departure experience while responding to a wide variety of guest needs throughout the stay. The Receptionist accurately assesses guest preferences, provides thoughtful recommendations, manages pre-arrival arrangements, and consistently aligns with Four Seasons service standards. This position is part of the Front Office team, reporting to the Front Office Manager.

What you will do:

• Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible.
• Welcome and register guests, explain accommodations, establish method of payment, and manage the check-out and billing process.
• Assist guests with inquiries related to hotel services, hours of operation, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, and local recommendations.
• Respond to all guest requests promptly and accurately in person, by phone, email, or through internal guest messaging platforms.
• Resolve guest concerns and identify opportunities to personalize service and create meaningful, memorable moments.
• Manage pre-arrival processes and assist guests in arranging services such as transportation, dining reservations, tours, and vendor coordination.
• Process packages, messages, and mail accurately and efficiently.
• Utilize internal systems—including Opera PMS and concierge platforms—to ensure accurate billing, tracking of guest requests, and seamless communication with internal departments.
• Maintain up-to-date desk collateral and local information to support insightful guest recommendations.
• Perform additional tasks or projects as assigned by management.

What you bring:

• One or more years of Front Desk or Front Office experience in a luxury hotel or similar environment is strongly preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to work effectively under pressure and as part of a collaborative team.
• Exceptional attention to detail, guest-centric mindset, and strong problem-solving ability.
• Proficiency in computer systems; knowledge of Opera PMS or similar systems is an asset.
• Knowledge of the local Nashville area is preferred.
