Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Parts Room Attendant to join our team at Tyson Foods. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining inventory, communicating effectively, and ensuring the smooth operation of our parts room during designated hours. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong computer skills, flexibility in work hours, and a willingness to learn and adapt.
This position is response for inventory control in the maintenance shop, as well as receiving and storing parts, maintenance supplies, and miscellaneous receivers.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage inventory within the parts room, ensuring accuracy and organization.
Utilize computer systems for inventory tracking and management.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding inventory needs and updates.
Flexibility in work hours, including the ability to work Sundays through Thursdays, with potential weekend shifts.
Demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt to evolving job requirements.
Ability to listen and understand instructions accurately.
Lift and move items weighing 40-50lbs as necessary.
Skills and Qualifications:
Proficient computer skills for inventory tracking and data entry.
Experience or capability in inventory management is preferred.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Flexibility in working hours and ability to work weekends as needed.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.
Ability to listen attentively and understand instructions clearly.
Capable of lifting and moving items weighing 40-50lbs.
