About the Role
We are seeking a Freight/Operations Coordinator to join our team in Karawatha on Brisbane’s southside. This is a Full Time Permanent Position, Monday to Friday 3pm - 11pm.
This hands-on role offers a mix of office-based administration and operational support within the depot, working closely with drivers and the operations team to keep freight moving efficiently. You will support daily linehaul operations through manifesting, data entry, driver debriefs, and operational audits, ensuring freight documentation and processes are accurate and compliant.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and manage linehaul manifests, ensuring freight is accurately recorded and allocated for transport
Complete accurate and timely data entry of manifests, freight documentation, and operational records
Conduct driver debriefs, ensuring all paperwork is returned, processed, and discrepancies are resolved
Perform freight and documentation audits to ensure operational accuracy and compliance with company procedures
Liaise with drivers, depot staff, and internal teams to ensure freight is processed and dispatched efficiently
Investigate and resolve manifest discrepancies or missing documentation in a timely manner
Provide operational support across both the office and depot floor to assist with daily linehaul activities

Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment and manage competing priorities
Strong communication skills and confidence liaising with drivers and operational teams
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to investigate discrepancies
