About the Role

Huge is looking for a Freelance Solutions Architect (Sitecore) to support complex digital initiatives, leading backend architecture and ensuring scalable, high-quality implementations.

This role requires deep expertise in Sitecore (on-premise) environments and the ability to work across both backend and modern frontend integrations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to define and deliver robust solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead backend architecture for Sitecore-based solutions (on-prem)
• Define and support scalable component and system design
• Collaborate across design and development sprints to ensure end-to-end delivery
• Work closely with frontend teams to enable headless and integrated architectures
• Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Ensure quality, scalability, and performance across implementations

What We’d Like to See

• Strong experience with Sitecore on-prem (mandatory)
• Hands-on expertise with Sitecore Experience Edge and GraphQL (critical)
• Proven experience in solution architecture and backend design
• Familiarity with React and/or Next.js in headless architectures (preferred)
• Experience working in client-facing environments
• Ability to operate in fast-paced, cross-functional teams

This role is currently not available for hire or work in New Mexico, and Hawaii, USA.
