Freelance Content Engineer (Architecture & Innovation)

THE MISSION

Movers+Shakers continues to operate at the forefront of Culture and Social Media. We are looking for a Content Engineer to be a founding architect of our Agentic Social Workflows. You aren't just using AI tools; you are building the proprietary technical infrastructure that amplifies our incredible team of creatives and strategists, building culturally resonant, highly engaging and performing social content.

You are a "Technical Architect with a Creative Soul." You understand the "plumbing" of APIs, LLMs, and automation, but you also have a sharp creative eye, with high judgement and and understanding of what works on social.   You know instinctively when a piece of content feels cringe vs. viral, you understand how to navigate and you build systems that hold that line of quality.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Architect Our Agentic Pipeline: Build from scratch multiple agentic workflows and agents, from research and insights tools to creative and synthetic production workflows.
  • Creative Calibration: You will refine prompts and models until the output meets the M+S standard of Social-First Excellence.
  • Scale the System: Collaborate with internal teams to deploy the system on pilot accounts and then support scaling this infrastructure across the entire agency.
WHO YOU ARE 
  • The Architect: You don't just want to use LLMS; you want to build a system where 5 different agents collaborate to write a script, check it against brand guidelines, and generate 10 variations for A/B testing.
  • Technically Fluent: You are an expert in Make.com, Zapier, or n8n. You understand how to connect APIs, work with JSON, and orchestrate LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, LangChain).
  • Creatively Gifted: You have a background in content, copy, or social strategy. You can tell the difference between "technically correct" content and "culturally relevant" content.
  • Systems Thinker: you enjoy the "puzzle" of taking a 45-minute raw video and building a workflow that programmatically identifies the 10 best "hook" moments.
  • Entrepreneurial: You are comfortable being the "first of your kind" at the agency. You are a builder who thrives in the "v1.0" phase.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3-5 years of experience in Marketing Technology, Creative Operations, or Technical Content Strategy.
  • Proven track record of building complex automated workflows (specifically in the GenAI space).
  • Portfolio or case studies showing how you’ve used technology to scale creative output without losing "human" quality.
  • A deep obsession with social media trends and the technical mechanics of platforms (TikTok, IG, YT, LinkedIn).
