Job Summary
This role will support the execution and continuous improvement of the Internal Fraud risk landscape across PPB. The role will offer analytical, risk, and governance oversight to proactively identify and monitor internal fraud risks. This is to ensure that fraud losses are kept to a minimum, and risks are managed proactively, all while complying with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.Job Description
Education and Experience Requirements:
NQF 7 or degree, or NQF 6 National Diploma or Equivalent will also be considered if in line with job role
4 – 6 years in Financial Services or related industry
3 – 5 years specializing in fraud Management / internal audit / risk management/ business process optimization
2 - 5 years proven ability to design and deliver sustainable risk mitigation strategies, process enhancements and proactive risk monitoring to manage identified risks within a risk appetite framework
Advanced computer literacy, especially the Microsoft Office suite of programs (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint) (1+ years).
Experience in Fraud Risk Management will be an advantage

Key Accountabilities:
Strategy and Execution of Strategy
Support the Senior Internal Fraud Risk Manager in implementing, executing the internal fraud risk strategy and monitoring its effectiveness
Conduct thematic reviews of forensic investigation cases to identify control gaps, weak controls, training gaps and behavioural issues and recommend control remediations required
Provide insights from reviews and business engagements to inform monitoring strategies and process refinement recommendations
Support the annual review of fraud threat assessments and assist the Senior Internal Fraud Risk Manager in aligning the internal fraud strategy
Assist in development and tracking of Key Risk Indicators for the monitoring of effectiveness to mitigate internal fraud risks
Perform monthly internal fraud risk reporting
Support fraud training and internal fraud awareness campaigns
Support strategic initiatives aimed at automation and use of artificial intelligence to improve internal fraud risk landscape
Risk and Control Management
Compile monthly reports for submissions to governance forums
Support and drive root cause analysis to define control remediations and support ownership engagements with business
Support business by providing inputs on New Products Assessments, CPAs, PCAs, DWBs
Ensure governance requirements as per bank standards are adhered to ito raising issues on risk management systems
Stakeholder Engagements:
Provide support to Business stakeholders on a regular basis to discuss strategy, performance and threats
Collaborate with forensics teams on tracking and reporting of case details
Remain abreast with changes being rolled out in business and provide support as and where required
Support manager in the provision of training and awareness sessions
Collaborate with Strategic and Tactical Analytics teams to absorb lessons learned into analytics approaches
MI
Lead collation of monthly loss and prevention MI for group reporting
Ensure that losses are identified and tracked in line with group policy
Ensure that Significant Fraud event governance is initiated as and where required
Ensure that business remediation is defined, agreed and executed for Significant Fraud losses
