ABOUT THE ROLE:

The FS Operations Analyst delivers high-quality operational support focused on efficiency, data quality, investment accounting, and senior-level operations functions. This role also contributes to compliance and regulatory exams and reporting, partnering across departments to ensure successful business results and client satisfaction.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

The responsibilities for this role are below; you may support projects of varying complexity based on skill and organizational priorities.

  • Data Integrity & Workflow Efficiency: Partner with Operations staff and related departments to solve problems, ensure data accuracy, and implement process improvements.

  • System & Procedure Optimization: Evaluate system enhancement opportunities, recommend policies and procedures, and review operational processes for automation and efficiency.

  • Cross-Department & Leadership Support: Collaborate with other departments and leadership on firm initiatives, special projects, and research to drive successful business results and client satisfaction.

  • Fee Processing & Fund Valuations: Assist with quarterly fee processes, monthly valuations for MOM funds, and updates to private fund prices, transactions, and positions.

  • Cash Disbursements: Participate in reviewing and approving client account disbursements and perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

  • Audit & Examination Support: Gather evidence and data for Internal Audits, RCSA’s, and external examinations (SEC, NCCOB, Surprise Custody Exam).

  • Regulatory Reporting & Compliance Requests: Assist with governance reporting and respond to compliance inquiries promptly.

  • Client Documentation & Adaptability: Review new client documentation for accuracy and adapt to shifting priorities to support team and company objectives.

  • Other Duties: Performing other duties as assigned, adapting to new tasks or shifts in priorities as necessary to support your team’s and the company’s mission.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree; Accounting, Finance or related field.

  • MBA, or advanced degree preferred.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Qualified candidates will possess an intermediate degree of proficiency (typically from 3-5 years of work or practical experience), in: 

  • Investment Knowledge: Intermediate understanding of asset allocation processes and all investment asset classes, including global equities, fixed income, and alternative investments.

  • Regulatory Expertise: Intermediate knowledge of compliance and regulatory issues impacting the investment management industry.

  • Technology Proficiency: Comprehensive knowledge of asset management PC-related applications and tools.

The base salary for this position is reflective of the range of salary levels for all roles within this pay grade across the U.S. Individual salaries within this range will vary based on factors such as role, relevant skillset, relevant experience, education and geographic location. In addition to the base salary, this role is eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan, with any such payment based upon company, line of business and/or individual performance.
