The New York Post is seeking a dynamic and passionate Franchise Growth Intern (40 hrs/week) to join our team this summer! You’ll work closely with our Senior Brand Manager of Franchise Growth to learn how to drive growth through strategic partnerships, innovative content development, and influencer marketing strategies. If you're excited about storytelling, brand development, creating impactful social content, and love pop culture and reality TV, this is the perfect opportunity to dive into the world of franchise growth with a media giant!
Note: This internship is scheduled to run from June 1, 2026 - August 7, 2026. Participants are expected to work full time hours and adhere to our on-site work schedule. Open to current juniors and seniors pursuing a BA, MA students, and recent graduates who completed their degree within the past year. Priority consideration will be given to applications received by March 15th.
What You’ll Do:
Support the Franchise Growth & Influencer Marketing team in developing and executing social media strategies that drive audience engagement and brand growth through the world of partnerships and creator content.
Assist in content ideation for social channels – helping brainstorm and package creative concepts aligned with current trends in pop culture and reality TV.
Conduct social listening and trend analysis, identifying viral moments, formats, and sounds that can inform upcoming campaigns.
Assist in compiling and summarizing weekly social performance reports to help track growth and engagement.
Research brand and influencer partnership opportunities, identifying trends among creators or talent in our target market.
Learn the ins and outs of brand development, audience engagement, and long-term franchise success.
What We’re Looking For:
A strong interest in social media strategy, influencer marketing, and brand partnerships.
Deep familiarity with reality TV, celebrity culture, and current social trends — you know what drives engagement online.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Canva and a strong understanding of social media platforms and trends.
Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to juggle multiple projects at once.
Passionate about growing your expertise in social storytelling and digital brand growth.
