Job Description:
Parsons' Unconventional Access is looking for an amazingly talented, fully cleared (TS/SCI) FPGA Developer to join our team! This immediate opening is positioned in some of the most sought-after work in this development and engineering community. In this role you will work to design, test, and analyze integrated circuits and hardware components as a part of a multidisciplinary engineering team building custom hardware and software products.
What You'll Be Doing:
Design, document, and develop firmware and code for digital signal processors or other programmable hardware devices such as Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) and Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) hardware
Apply ASIC or FPGA place and route (P&R) tools with various libraries to create physical implementations of designs
Work with tool and library vendors to develop solutions for designers’ P&R design challenges
Integrate new P&R tools, P&R tool updates, and ASIC or FPGA design libraries into Government’s computer aided design environment, documents the use of those tools and libraries, and Assist other physical designers to successfully complete their specific P&R design tasks
Provide technical leadership to less experienced engineers
Participate in and moderate peer reviews
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
A minimum of twelve (12) years of experience as a HDE in integrated circuit or microelectronic component design
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or a related field OR five (5) years of additional experience in hardware design engineering may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree
Strong software development background (C/C++, Python etc.)
Experience using version control tools (e.g. SVN, GIT)
Working knowledge of FPGA design (e.g. Xilinx, Altera, Lattice)
Working knowledge of FPGA functional simulation (e.g. Modelism, Xilinx, Altera)
Experience working within formal engineering processes (configuration management, requirements tracking, design reviews)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on lab environment
Security Clearance Requirement:
