FP&A Working Student (m/f/d)

Mission Brief

Isar Aerospace is looking for a highly motivated Working Student to support the FP&A team in financial analysis, reporting, and planning activities alongside ongoing business operations. You will work closely with a Senior FP&A Analyst, who will guide you in your role.

Your Role in Our Space Mission

• Engage in finance business partnering for functions with recurring costs and contracts, acting as a point of contact for basic financial and contractual topics
• Support month-end closing activities by preparing variance analysis, identifying deviations, and contributing to cost center reporting
• Assist with annual budgeting and forecasting processes, including data collection, consolidation, and validation of planning inputs
• Perform ad-hoc financial analysis related to specific projects or business questions
• Support the FP&A team and the wider Finance organization with day-to-day operational activities

Qualification Checklist 

• Currently enrolled in a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree (e.g. Finance, Business Administration, Economics) 
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong can-do attitude and solution-oriented mindset
• High level of proactivity and self-motivation
• Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• First experience in controlling, reporting, or financial analysis is a plus
• Technical expertise in the aerospace sector is a plus
• Fluent in English
