Marvell is seeking an experienced FP&A Systems Principal Professional / Solution Architect to lead the design, enhancement, and support of financial planning systems and processes. This role will serve as the bridge between Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, efficient, and integrated FP&A solutions that support planning, forecasting, reporting, and decision-making across the enterprise.What You Can Expect
• Serve as the primary point of contact for FP&A systems architecture, design, support, and continuous improvement
• Partner with FP&A, Accounting, IT, and business teams to understand planning and reporting requirements and translate them into scalable system solutions
• Lead solution design for budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, management reporting, and scenario modeling processes
• Drive architecture and roadmap decisions for FP&A platforms and related integrations
• Support and enhance enterprise performance management (EPM) platforms such as OneStream and related planning tools
• Define and improve end-to-end FP&A business processes, including data flows, hierarchies, metadata, and governance
• Work closely with business stakeholders to identify pain points, resolve system issues, and deliver long-term improvements
• Lead system configuration, business rule design, workflow setup, data mapping, and integration activities
• Partner with data and integration teams to ensure accurate and timely movement of data across ERP, data warehouse, and planning systems
• Ensure strong controls around data accuracy, system security, auditability, and process compliance
• Support month-end, quarter-end, annual planning cycles, and ad hoc business requests
• Drive automation and simplification opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve planning efficiency
• Provide functional leadership across testing, deployment, release management, and user adoption
• Create and maintain documentation for system design, process flows, business requirements, and support procedures
• Provide guidance on best practices in FP&A systems, planning processes, and solution design
• Engage with software vendors and implementation partners as needed to address product issues, upgrades, and new capabilities
• Stay current on emerging technologies, including AI and GenAI opportunities in finance processes, and identify practical use cases
• Partner with data science and engineering teams to productionize AI-enabled solutions with strong governance, accuracy, and explainability
What We're Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related discipline
10+ years of experience in FP&A systems, enterprise applications, business analysis, or solution architecture
5+ years of hands-on experience supporting or implementing FP&A / EPM platforms such as OneStream or similar tools
Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, and management reporting processes
Experience designing and supporting integrations between planning systems, ERP platforms, and reporting environments
Strong knowledge of FP&A system configuration, workflows, metadata, dimensions, business rules, and reporting structures
Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, or similar enterprise platforms
Strong understanding of data architecture, master data management, and financial data flows
Familiarity with integration tools, SQL, APIs, ETL processes, and reporting/BI platforms
Ability to translate business requirements into system design and technical solutions
Knowledge of financial data models, driver-based planning, and scenario analysis
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with Finance leaders, technical teams, and executive stakeholders
Exposure to AI/ML or GenAI enabled finance transformation initiatives
Experience with Agile delivery models and structured SDLC practices
Experience in semiconductor, manufacturing, or high-tech industry
Experience supporting a large-scale global planning environment
Expected Base Pay Range (USD)
138,840 - 208,000, $ per annumThe successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
