Overview:

The position plays a critical role in strengthening financial discipline across plant operations, improving costs control, identifying cost savings opportunities across manufacturing and supply chain activities, and enhancing decision-making through data-driven analysis. By connecting financial results to operational activities, the analyst helps identify risks and opportunities, supports continuous improvement initiatives, and ensures alignement with overall business and P&L objectives.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead financial support for plant operations, including monthly close, variance analysis, and performance reporting;
  • Partner with plant leaders to monitor performance, explain variances, and drive accountabiolity to budget and forecasts;
  • Analyze manufacturing and supply chain costs, including production, inventory and logistics to identify key drivers and improvement opportunities;
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes for plants and supply chain operations;
  • Review and manage inventory performance, including excess/obsolete inventory, write-offs, and operational drivers;
  • Provide insights into cost absorption, production volumes, and operational efficiency;
  • Support product costing and margin analysis for excisting and new products.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.

Experience

  • 5 years + of experience in FP&A, Finance, or Controlling (depending on seniority)

Knowledge

  • Manufacturing/Plant Finance and cost accounting;
  • Standard costing and cost absorption analysis;
  • Inventory analysis;
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills (Excel required; reporting tools preferred);
  • Ability to interpret complex data and effectively communicate insights;
  • Strong financial planning, budgeting and forecasting background;
  • SAP or ERP systems;
  • Strong business partnering skills; ability to influence without authority;
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving mindset.
