FP&A Analyst

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented and strategically-minded FP&A Analyst  to join our finance team in Berlin, reporting to our FP&A Lead. As a vital part of the team, you will drive forward our financial insights, planning, performance analysis, and ad hoc projects, working closely with the FP&A Lead, the entire Finance team & stakeholders across the company including C-level.

This is a hands-on role with strong ownership across strategic finance initiatives, insights and budget controls. You’ll combine functional expertise with business partnering, cross-functional collaboration and the opportunity to shape how financial insights guide key business decisions. This is a full-time role based in Berlin.

 

ONCE YOU ARE HERE YOU WILL:

• Own and continuously improve core FP&A processes, including budget vs. actuals analysis, forecasting, and scenario modeling
• Partner with the CFO and leadership team to deliver timely, forward-looking insights that support strategic decisions
• Act as a finance business partner to functional leaders across the business, helping track performance, understand drivers, and enable data-driven decisions
• Develop and improve financial models and dashboards to track KPIs and business performance
• Support budgeting cycles, ensuring engagement and alignment with functional leads
• Ensure accurate and timely cash flow reporting, forecasting, and analysis
• Help organize and structure financial data, ensuring data integrity and accessibility to facilitate complex analysis and reporting
• Drive financial transparency across the organization - translating data into actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Continuously improve financial systems, processes and data structures, ensuring scalability and accuracy as we grow
• Support the CFO with corporate strategy initiatives and investor relations, when needed

 

WHAT WE NEED YOU TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related field
• 4-6+ years of experience in FP&A, Strategic Finance or a related role
• Strong experience in financial modeling, strategic planning, and cross-functional business partnering
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
• Proven track record in a SaaS or software environment, with a solid understanding of subscription-based metrics and dynamics
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with planning/reporting tools; Salesforce user knowledge is a plus
• Proactive, hands-on approach, comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth, entrepreneurial environment
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a bias toward action
• Proficiency in English is required; German is a plus
