Job Description:

This position is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interactive financial dashboards and reports for the Financial Planning & Analysis, Decision Support Management Reporting team. He/She will research and transform complex data into clear, actionable insights, bridging business needs with technical solutions and ensuring stakeholders can make informed, data-driven decisions through visually appealing and user-friendly data visualizations. This role also tests data values to provide solutions for incorrect database values and processes and ensures proper design, maintenance, and functionality of database and dashboard values.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes and summarizes data to offer insight to upper-level management
  • Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to gather and understand reporting requirements
  • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards using BI tools such as Looker, Power BI, or Tableau (Looker preferred)
  • Create visually compelling and user-friendly data visualizations that align with business goals
  • Optimize dashboard performance through efficient data modeling and query tuning
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security in all reports
  • Document dashboard designs, data sources, and processes for future reference
  • Provide training and support to end-users on dashboard usage and interpretation

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or International equivalent in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field – Preferred
  • Experience in at least one BI platform (Looker preferred, Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
  • Understanding of data visualization best practices and UI/UX principles
  • Strong SQL skills for querying and transforming data (BigQuery preferred)
  • Experience demonstrating basic knowledge of database design principles, data modeling, and ETL processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
