FP&A Analyst BeLux

Your role

As an FP&A Analyst at Otis, you play a key role in financial decision‑making for the Belgium & Luxembourg organization, with a combined annual revenue of approximately €100 million. Within a Fortune 500 multinational, you act as a trusted business partner to local management, translating financial information into clear insights that support sound commercial and operational decisions.
FP&A is at the core of this role. You are closely involved in the budgeting, forecasting, and performance management cycles, working in partnership with Sales, Field Operations, and Finance leadership. You are expected to take responsibility for your scope, bring structure to financial discussions, and help management understand performance drivers in a fast‑paced, international environment.

This position is a strong next step for professionals with a Big 4 or solid controlling background who are ready to take more ownership and move closer to the business.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the annual budgeting process and monthly and quarterly rolling forecasts
  • Analyze financial performance and explain variances versus plan, forecast, and prior year
  • Translate numbers into narratives, delivering clear conclusions and actionable recommendations to senior management
  • Challenge business assumptions and proactively flag risks and opportunities impacting P&L performance
  • Prepare and continuously improve management reports, dashboards, and ad‑hoc analyses for leadership teams
  • Partner independently with commercial and operational leaders to steer decision‑making and performance
  • Drive improvements in FP&A processes, tools, and data quality to increase efficiency, transparency, and scalability

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • 3- 5+ years of relevant experience in FP&A, Controlling or a similar finance role
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand, challenge and explain figures and underlying business drivers
  • Confident communicator, able to interact with senior stakeholders and present insights clearly
  • Business-oriented mindset, eager to move beyond reporting and actively influence decisions
  • Able to work independently, challenge stakeholders constructively, and translate complex data into actionable insights without close supervision
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with BI tools (e.g. Power BI) and ERP systems is a plus
  • Fluent in English; Dutch or French is a plus
