Who You Will Be Working With

You’ll join PMG’s Technology team, a group of curious builders, problem-solvers, and innovators who care deeply about creating meaningful impact through technology. Our Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) organization bridges the gap between client needs and product innovation, shaping how PMG’s proprietary platforms power growth across industries and regions.

As a Principal within this team, you’ll collaborate with engineers, product managers, and executive leaders to evolve the frameworks that define how PMG delivers scalable, tech-powered solutions. You’ll have the opportunity to influence global strategy, empower regional teams, and ensure that our products and people thrive together.

This is a role for someone who loves translating big ideas into action, someone equally comfortable designing frameworks, mentoring engineers, and inspiring teams to think boldly about how technology can unlock value for our clients and partners.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Define and pilot the Alli Direct support model and service-level agreements (SLAs), partnering with regional pods to establish repeatable best practices.
  • Lead cross-region governance and collaboration, ensuring alignment across EMEA and other regions within a unified global framework.
  • Set the technical direction across accounts, balancing scope, speed, and quality to ensure lasting impact.
  • Host and lead the monthly Alli Update for executive stakeholders, providing clear decisions, updates, and strategic next steps.
  • Translate key customer insights into actionable technical enhancements, influencing both live product improvements and the broader product roadmap.
  • Develop enablement extensions for Alli Direct, such as advanced workshops, training, and vertical-specific add-ons, to drive organic platform growth.
  • Champion the use of AI and automation to simplify workflows, improve efficiency, and support smarter, faster decisions.
  • Lead engineer upskilling initiatives, from pairing sessions to code-reading workshops, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
  • Align the FDE portfolio with revenue outcomes and collaborate with product leaders to shape roadmap priorities that support scalable success.

What You’ll Bring 

  • 8+ years of experience in a solutions engineering or similar role, with a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. 
  • Bring advanced expertise in application development and maintenance, pairing advanced coding skills with rigorous quality assurance (QA) to deliver reliable software.
  • Apply advanced data management and analysis to design, query, and optimize models using PostgreSQL and Structured Query Language (SQL).
  • Build and troubleshoot web integrations with Hyper Text Markup Language (HTML), Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), JavaScript, and Web APIs.
  • Write efficient Python and work confidently in Linux environments for scripting, debugging, and deployment.
  • Drive complex initiatives with advanced project management, clear communication, and polished presentations that align technical and business stakeholders.
  • Facilitate inclusive group problem-solving that unblocks decisions and nurtures shared ownership.
  • Work fluently within PMG’s Alli platform to craft client‑ready solutions and measurable outcomes.
