This is a full-time role as a Forward Deployed Engineer, located onsite in New York, NY.
We're looking for a technically sharp, customer-obsessed problem solver to be the bridge between our platform and the prospects and customers it needs to win over. Your mission: be the technical voice in the room during sales cycles, run flawless demos and prospect visits, and once the deal is closed, make every onboarding seamless and every environment perfectly tuned.
You'll be embedded across Sales and Customer Success and operate like an engineer in the field — joining prospect calls and onsite visits, running technical demos, fielding security and integration questions in real time, and carrying that momentum straight into implementation: building, configuring, and troubleshooting in customer environments, handling data migrations and integrations, and solving high-priority technical challenges at speed.
You'll work directly with prospects, customers, our product team, and engineering to win deals and deliver high-quality implementations. We pride ourselves on a culture that rewards impact and success generously. We're focused on empowering each other to do our best work, today and into the future. You'll be on a team that works incredibly hard and seeks other exceptional people excited to do the same.
Responsibilities
First week:
- Learn the Hadrius platform inside and out — features, integrations, data structures, and workflows
- Ramp up on our demo environments, customer environment setup process, data import/export tools, and internal technical playbooks
- Shadow sales demos, prospect calls, and customer onboarding sessions to understand where deals get won and where bottlenecks occur
- Take on and resolve several small technical requests to start adding value immediately
First month:
- Co-lead technical portions of sales demos and prospect visits, including onsite meetings with investment advisers and broker-dealers
- Field live security, integration, and architecture questions from prospects with confidence
- Fully own the creation and configuration of customer environments for new onboardings
- Handle all data migrations, imports, and exports without errors or delays
- Build repeatable scripts and playbooks to speed up demo setup, environment provisioning, and issue resolution
- Serve as the first line of technical support, solving issues before they reach engineering
First 3 months & beyond:
- Become the technical expert prospects trust during the sales cycle — measurably increasing technical-win rate and shortening sales cycles
- Own custom demo environments and proof-of-concept builds for high-value prospects
- Cut average onboarding time-to-value by 30%+ through faster setup and data readiness
- Resolve 95% of technical issues without engineering intervention
- Own and continuously improve both the technical sales process and the onboarding process
- Build internal tooling and automation to make Sales and CS operations faster and more scalable
- Be the go-to technical expert customers and prospects trust to solve their hardest compliance-ops challenges

- Grit: You push through complex problems until you have a clean, scalable solution.
- All-in: This is not a 9–5. We're building fast, traveling often, and need someone who thrives in that environment
