JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION SUMMARY: Food Production - Forklift Operator – Full Time – Kansas City, KS

   

Starting pay $24.75/HR

This position will ensure the safe, efficient, and accurate movement of goods and materials into and throughout the plant by utilizing the material management systems in the KCK facility.  

RESPONSIBILITIES: (Include, but are not limited to the following)

• LEAN Manufacturing-Contribute to a continuous improvement environment by participating in activities to include line side problems solving. Contribute to a safe and organized work environment by maintaining a clean and orderly workspace.    
• Scan inventory movement into Vehicle Mounted Units and interpret data output pull systems integrity.   
• Operate powered trucks following safety guidelines.
• Must be willing and able to work currently available shift(s), overtime, and weekends if required.    
• Ability to perform basic math skills.  Ability to draw conclusions based on analysis of data from multiple sources.

• Must be willing and able to bend, twist, and stand for long periods of time.    
• Must be willing and able to lift, push, or carry up to 50 lbs. and work in a fast-paced environment and requires repetitive motions.    
• Must be willing and able to stand, bend, reach overhead, and twist for long periods of time.    
• Must be willing and able to stand 8-12 hours a day on hard floor.
