Job Summary
The Grant Service Specialist III is responsible for managing and supporting funding, procurement, and operational activities specific to forensic services. This position plays a critical role in coordinating grant applications, ensuring regulatory compliance, monitoring grant budgets, and managing procurement processes for supplies and services used in forensic operations. The specialist will serve as a liaison between forensic units and administrative departments to ensure alignment of funding and operational objectives. Responsibilities include the ordering and tracking of reagents, equipment, and service contracts, as well as maintaining accurate records and supporting audits. This position requires strong attention to detail, knowledge of procurement and grant regulations, and experience in forensic or scientific environments.
Essential Functions
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Have a bachelor's degree in business or a related field from an accredited college or university.
AND
Experience: Have four (4) years of experience in business, purchasing or grant related area. Three (3) years of education includes master's Degree or certification preferred.
OR
Equivalency Notes: Have an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Probation
