Our team of forensic professionals helps clients navigate high-stakes disputes and to prevent, detect and remediate misconduct. By combining financial, economic and investigative expertise with advanced analytics and cutting-edge technology, we advise multinational corporates across sectors that are involved in disputes or require corporate investigations into fraud, corruption or other wrongdoing.
Joining our team as a Manager (or experienced Senior Consultant), you will be part of the Global Dispute Advisory Centre of Excellence, working across a diverse portfolio of disputes, international arbitration, complex investigations, compliance reviews and crisis response throughout the EMEA region, in collaboration with global colleagues and leading law firms.
Sirshar Qureshi is the PwC CEE/CIS Forensic Co-Leader and Global Dispute Advisory Centre of Excellence Leader, with more than 33 years of experience. Sirshar and his team help clients navigate disputes and fraud matters and emerge stronger from crisis situations.
You will:
Contribute to and be part of multidisciplinary teams delivering financial, economic, valuation and damages analyses (including valuation modelling) for international arbitration, with sensitivity/scenario testing and benchmarking
Analyse and interpret complex financial and accounting data
Collaborate with legal counsels working on the dispute to gather evidence, develop case-resolution strategies and approaches
Prepare, review and critique expert reports and support expert testimony and hearing preparation
Conduct forensic investigations on fraud, corruption, or regulatory breaches, including evidence collection and documentation.
Perform compliance reviews, assess corporate governance structures, policies and procedures against regulatory expectations, identify gaps and potential risks, and design remediation plans and control enhancements.
Support business development initiatives and contribute to the practice’s growth.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional to move or retrain into the forensic and disputes area and work on complex, global assignments as part of an international team.
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting, Finance, Economics; ACCA or similar type of accounting education is a must, and CPA/CFA/CFE is highly desirable.
3–5+ years of experience in forensic services, disputes, investigations or audit.
Working knowledge of forensic accounting, valuation, and / or litigation support.
Structured, logical argumentation and the ability to organise ideas clearly with a coherent flow
Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt with flexibility
Fluency in English is a must and working knowledge of another language is advantageous
Strong attention to detail and well-developed analytical skills
