Job Description:
Food Service Worker
Full time, First shift
Preparation and delivery of off-scheduled patient services, provide high quality, good presentation and high level of customer service satisfaction with sanitary conditions maintained throughout service and clean-up. Maintains kitchen work areas and equipment and utensils in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties.
Job Duties:
- Prep work including, washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding vegetables and fruits along with weighing and measuring designated ingredients.
- Washes pots and pans thoroughly using established ware washing procedures and sweeps and mops kitchen and dish room floors using proper procedures.
- Properly stores foods in designated areas following wrapping, dating, and food safety and rotation procedures.
- Prepares items needed for meals; prepares hot and cold beverages, replenishes as needed and fills and replenishes condiments and all assorted items on the line.
- Carries pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from workstations, stove, and refrigerator while maintaining all safety standards.
- Operate Cash Register and cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
Preferred Requirements:
- Food Handler card or Servsafe certificate preferred
- High School Diploma/GED
- One to three months’ experience
